Patch Groups

The Patch Group is a static group of patches, often used to update servers. You can manually add patches to the Patch Group, which is valid for one month. The added patches are not tested against any conditions, unlike the patches in a Patch Query.

Important Information

A patch can be within as many groups as necessary, no limitations. A patch group can contain as many patches as desired. There are no limits to how many patch groups can be created.

An account with the 'Patch Manager' permissions

	To create a new group
	To create a folder to store the group
	To edit the existing group
	To delete the existing group
	To scan all patches in the group
	To deploy all patches in the group
	To view patches' details
	To scan a particular patch from the group
	To install a particular patch from the group
	To schedule a scan task either now or later
	Never check or install selected patches
	New patches
	Export the patch group list to the XML file
Dashboard	Standard and custom dashboards to display device health
Select Patch Types	Filter devices by device type, patch type, or severity of vulnerabilities detected. Multiple filters can be used
Filter	Filter devices by device location
Search	Used to search all columns for a specific reference
	Download list of devices (with columns) to CSV file
	Turn Auto Fix on/off
	Hide or show Full Superseded patches
	Hide or show Partially Superseded patches
	Hide or show patch detection statistics

❶	Right-click > click 'New Group' or click from the toolbar.
❷	Enter a Group Name
❸	Click You may import device numbers from a CSV file by using the button
❹	Select a patch(s) by using the check box next to the patch name > Click
