End User Access

Devices being managed by Syxsense can be configured so that they can be remote-controlled by someone who does not have access to the Syxsense console.
Important Information Devices must be individually configured to use this feature; The remote control session can be initiated on any device that supports HTLM5; The 'Access Code' is providing limited remote access. To ensure users receive unique device access, use a unique 'Access Code' for each device. |
Prerequisites A device in the Syxsense console A Syxsense account that has the Remote Control 'User Permissions' |

Configure the device to allow End User Access:

Assign an 'Access Code' to the device, then click on 'Update'. Make a note of the device name, Access URL, and Access Code; this information will be required by the individual who wishes to use the feature. Entering in a blank Access Code will disable this feature. Using the same 'Access Code' on more than one device will allow access to all devices with the same code. Accessing the remote device:

Highlight the device that you wish to remote control then click on the 'Remote Control' button. The remote control session will start. Drop-down TitleDrop-down Title |

To end the remote control session close down the browser by clicking on the cross. If you close down the remote control session without logging off the device being controlled you will be left logged into the device, you may wish to log off the device before closing the browser. |
