Event Viewer

The Remote Event Viewer provides a mechanism to remotely review and export the contents of Windows events recorded on the device.

Please, note that it may take up to a minute for the list of events to be uploaded to the console. Once loaded, the events can be sorted by the column headers, or by date ranges. You can also search for specific events using any of the data types available in the visible columns within the event results list.

Important Information

Viewing event logs for all date ranges can take time, please be patient.

These options are only available for Windows operating systems.

Depending on what antivirus you have installed, other event viewer logs may be available.

By default, all event logs appear in ascending order, use the arrows to scroll through pages.

Prerequisites

An online device

An account that has the 'Endpoint Management' permissions

Discovery: Event Viewer

Application	Windows Application event logs.
Hardware Events	Windows hardware event logs.
Internet Explorer	Windows Internet Explorer event logs.
Key Management Service	Windows Key Management Service event logs.
Microsoft Office Alerts	Windows Microsoft Office Alerts event logs.
Security	Windows Security event logs.
System	Windows System event logs.
Windows PowerShell	Windows PowerShell event logs.
	Used to supply a date range.
Export to CSV	Export currently listed processes/services to CSV file.
