Log Viewer

The log viewer in Syxsense allows an administrator to review the logs generated by the Syxsense agent.

This viewer is intended to provide support when reviewing issues associated with the Syxsense agent, or issues with tasks ran on a device.

Logs are organized first by their Type, and then by their date. To open a log, simply select the log you wish to review from the sidebar. Once you have selected a log, you can sort the log by Level, to review any warnings or errors present in the file. 

Important Information

These logs are generated by the Syxsense client and should only be reviewed with the assistance of the Syxsense Helpdesk when troubleshooting an issue.

An online device

An account that has the 'Endpoint Management' permissions

Discovery: Log Types

 

Relay

Logs relay traffic that is unreadable

UnobservedTaskException

Provides error logs for the Syxsense Agent

VCMSPush

Displays Agent Upgrade and Self-Management Information

MiniLibrary

The primary logging system for Syxsense.

Most debugging for the product happens in this log.

PatchScanner

Provides detailed information from detection criteria on whether

patch components or security vulnerabilities are detected and why.

RemoteContol

Shows the status of initiating and closing remote control

sessions.

RemoteControl.Capture

Shows the active status of a remote control session

SoftwareDistribution

Logs the download of software and patches on an endpoint
