Approve a Workflow

After a Security Scan reveals some security breaches you can automatically remediate them using ready-made and tested resolution workflows in Syxsense Cortex. The vulnerabilities can be fixed with a Security Resolve task in the Security subsection on the Vulnerabilities tab. This option becomes available only after you approve the workflow. Link Vulnerabilities found by traditional Security Scanners to automated scripts to deploy a fix and eliminate the risk.

After creating a workflow go to Vulnerabilities Choose the vulnerability you want to fix > Click 'View Details' >

You may customize the Cortex Workflow if needed but it has been configured to work without further modification > Click 'Save'

The description box allows to add detailed information on remediation process. Description box has 6 lines. If description is longer - the scroll bar appears. If there's no description - the box is hidden.Drop-down TitleDrop-down Title

Right-click the Vulnerability > Click Security Resolve Task
