Device and Site Management

Detailed information about all the detected devices visible on the Devices tab can be found in the Devices section: Managed Devices and Unmanaged Devices.

Sites are IP ranges within which you search devices during the discovery and implementation process. While creating two sites with intersecting IP ranges, devices within the intersection will be added to the first site which is placed higher on the tab.

If you wish to connect particular devices with a known IP address to your network, you can indicate not an IP range but one IP in the corresponding field.

You can check all your sites list and devices that belong to these IP ranges in the 'Global sites view' section. If you don’t name a specific IP range, you can check all the devices within it in a 'Default site' folder.

On the Device Detail Overview page, you can check out the visualization of the Computer Health state with the full breakdown, Computer Security state, Current activity, as well as, System Information.

Device Tools allow you to complete different operations on the devices, like checking out their inventory or inventory history and quarantining the infected devices. In this section, you can find all the information about general device information, device inventory and how to use it for your purposes, and various device tools which will facilitate your work with devices and enhance your control over them.

Important Information

Sites are only intended to represent physical locations, physical network segments, or logical network segments.

They can be IP address-based but can also be containers for other devices which are locked. Sites are not required to have IP address ranges but are recommended.

Right click Sites click 'New Site'.

Enter details for the Site including Site Name and IP Ranges.

Be aware that all Sites MUST have unique names. if you need to create complex site organizations, be careful in how you architect your site naming convention.

If you choose to use IP Ranges as part of your Site Organization, please keep your IP ranges to no more than 50,000 addresses per range (if you need more ranges in a site, just make a new IP Range Row).

You may add an IP address range as an exclusion, which means that specific IP address range will be excluded from any scanning.
